Delores J. Dovala

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Youngstown for Delores J. Dovala who passed away Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Delores was born October 24, 1930 in the Lansingville section of Youngstown. She had worked in retail for Strouss' in the Austintown Plaza and retired from Kaufmann's in the Eastwood Mall after 25 years. Delores was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, enjoyed gardening, was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and was an avid Ohio State Football fan with her late husband of 57 years, Edward Dovala, whom she married June 21, 1947. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Cindi and her husband Jim Schrum of Greensboro, NC; Godson David and his wife Sue Remias of Pittsburgh and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Rd. Youngstown, OH 44511 in Delores' name. Friends may call from 10 am until 11 am Tuesday prior to the services at the church. Lane Family Funeral Home has been entrusted to handle the arrangements.
