Delores M Parsons

Delores M. Parsons, age 80, of Cortland, Ohio, died Friday, February 12, 2010, at Cortland Healthcare Center in Cortland. She was born on October 9, 1929 in Warren, a daughter of the late George Friga Sr. and the late Anna (Kaylo) Friga. Delores was a member of St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church and worked as a Bus Driver for the Howland Local Schools. She is survived by one son, Robert Parsons of Cortland, two daughters, Judith Schellenger of Warren and Sandra Lawhorn of Howland and a sister, Irene Hebner of Warren. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Delores was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010, at 2 PM. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at a later date at the Johnston Township Cemetery.
