Diana S. Holzbach

Diana S. Holzbach, 81 of Howland Township died Friday morning, May 13, 2016, at her home in Howland. She was born December 16, 1934 in Warren the daughter of the late Karl and Emilie Giengher Nussle. She had been a lifetime Trumbull county resident. Nana was a 1953 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She was a homemaker all of her married life and also worked as an aide at Trumbull Memorial Hospital for several years. Diana was an active member of First Baptist Church of Howland, where she worked in the nursery for many years and enjoyed helping with church dinners. She enjoyed flower gardening, shopping and spending time outdoors. Nana was an avid reader, especially of scripture in the Bible. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Harold J. Holzbach, whom she married October 6, 1965; two sons, David W. (Kimberly) Greene of Howland and Gregory W. (Linda Romeo) Greene of Poland; five grandchildren, Jessica (Glenn) Gault, Steven Greene, Dylan Desotell, Tanya (Lou) Cimmento and Jason (Shannon) Neff; two great grandchildren, Gianna and Gavin Gault and one brother, Ralph Nussle of Avon Lake. One sister, Rita Wells and two brothers, Norman "Bud" and Larry Nussle all have preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Howland, 8957 East Market Street with Pastor Jerry Croyts officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday. Burial will be at Howland Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at First Baptist Church of Howland.
