Dino M. Ziccardi

Funeral services will be held at 7pm Tuesday in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Dino M. Ziccardi, 49, who died Saturday morning at the Hospice House in Poland. He was born October 10, 1959 in Austintown, the son of Dino M. and Lucille (Phillips) Ziccardi, and he resided in this area all of his life. He was a 1977 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and he worked for General Motors Lordstown on the assembly line for 30 years until his retirement in June of this year. He enjoyed gardening and he loved to take his boat out on fishing trips. He is survived by his wife, the former Magdalena Horvath, whom he married August 11, 2004. He also leaves a son Dino M. Ziccardi, Jr. of Niles; four step-daughters; Lisa Diana of Youngstown, Christine Diana of Austintown, Christie Lewis of Warren, and Pamela Carpenter of Mineral Ridge; two brothers; David (Sandra) Pickens of Berlin Center, and William Pickens of Cincinnati; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from 5-7pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
