Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Dixie L. Kuhn, 69, who died early Friday morning at the Hospice House in Poland. She was born October 30, 1940 in Liberty, a daughter of John R. and Agnes P. (Allison) Breedlove, and she resided in this area all of her life. She worked as a waitress at The Lodge restaurant in Austintown for 25 years and most recently she worked for Things Remembered for 9 years before retiring in 2007. She enjoyed camping, fishing, bingo, and listening to Elvis Presley, but most of all she loved her family and friends. Dixie was a kind and loving lady and she will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Fred Kuhn, whom she married March 25, 1961. She also leaves behind five brothers; Leighton (Shirley) Breedlove of Austintown, James (Lillian) Breedlove of Girard, Harvey (Ann) Breedlove of McDonald, Maynard (Rose) Breedlove of Lordstown, and George "Bill" (Barb) Breedlove of McDonald; a sister, Helen Breedlove of Youngstown; two special nieces; Barbara (Darren) Hawk of Akron and Sherri Sayre of Youngstown; and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a niece Christine Skopas; and a nephew Chester Sayre. Friends may call from 4-8pm Monday at the funeral home.
