Dolores Eddy

Dolores Eddy, 103, formerly of Champion, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at her daughter's home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 2, 1913 in Jacksonville, Ohio, daughter of the late James and Neva (Blackstone) Clemons. Dolores married Thomas Eddy on August 21, 1933. Dolores retired from Sears department store after 28 years of working in shipping. She was a past president of the Warren Emblem Club #397. Dolores and her husband loved to travel and were snow birds who enjoyed the winter season in Florida. She enjoyed bowling, cards and spending time with her family. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Sheila Lesnoski; four grandchildren, Tom (Kelly) Lesnoski, Cindy Wayland, John (Kelly) Cleckner, and Kelly (Sean) Napier; eleven great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Eddy on March 6, 1987; her parents, a daughter, Sally Cleckner; two grandsons, Shawn and Troy Cleckner; three brothers, two sisters, and a son-in-law, Donald Lesnoski. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, at 12:00 PM. Friends and family may gather one hour prior to services at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held privately at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Dolores to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
