Dominic Michael Direnzo Austintown A Memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday May 17, 2014 at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 5253 West Webb Rd. Austintown, OH 44515, for Dominic Michael Direnzo, 65, who died Monday evening at his residence. Dominic was born Nov. 20, 1948 in Youngstown, the son of the late Michael D. and Virginia (Frank) Direnzo. Mr. Direnzo worked at U.S. Steel for 14 years then went on to work at General Motors as a millwright for 29 years. He was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. Dominic enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a lover of nature. He also enjoyed watching Nascar, wrestling, football and baseball and was an avid gun and baseball card collector. He leaves behind his wife Betty Jane (McNeal) Direnzo whom he married on Nov. 15, 1993, his two sons Michael (Cassie) Direnzo of East Liverpool and Tracey (Staci) Direnzo of Austintown, his step-children David (Terri) Buehrle of Austintown, Sandy Lasko of Los Angeles and Michael Granchay of Austintown, his grandchildren Charis, Micah, Zane and Sylvia Direnzo, his step-grandchildren Erik, Deanna, Rich, David, Dustin, Tabitha and Stephanie as well as his siblings Karen Beardsley, Joann Eddington, Trina Bates, Ron and Harold Davis and Suzanne Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandmother Hazel (Ripple) Frank and sister Christine Adams. Friends may be received on Saturday from 10:30am until the time of services at 11:30 am at Grace Church of The Nazarene. .
