Donald E. Peek, Sr.

Struthers- Memorial services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday in McDonald First Baptist Church, 206 Illinois Ave., McDonald, for Donald E. Peek Sr. age 69 of 2711 E. Midlothian Blvd. who died Sat. morning at his daughter’s home. Donald was born Jan. 24, 1934 in Richwood, WV and was the son of Phurah and Olive Grace (Hall) Peek. He had formerly owned and operated Don Peek’s Tree Service. He was a member of McDonald Baptist Church. His wife the former Thelma R. (Socie) Peek whom he married Dec. 31, 1987 died Feb. 20, 2002. He is survived by five daughters, Jeannie DiSanti and Debra Hanna both of WV, Barbara Fair of TX, Thelma “Peanut” Petreck with whom he made his home, Betty Weidner of Youngstown, a son Donald Peek Jr. of Youngstown, three sisters, Virginia White and Libby Jeffrey both of WV, Doris Doley of Kentucky, five brothers, Chuck, Delbert and John Peek all of Youngstown area, Phurah Peek Jr. of WV, George Peek of U.S.A., 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 3 grandsons and 1 great grandson. Local arrangements by Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel. The family requests that material contributions be made to the church or the family.
