Donald E. Stack

Austintown- Funeral services will be held 4 PM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home-Canfield Chapel for Donald E. Stack, age 62 of Austintown who died Wednesday evening at his home. Don was born March 28, 1964 in Youngstown and was the son of the late Steven and Hazel (Davis) Stack. He had worked for Baird Lumber Co. in Canfield and was a 1964 graduate of Canfield High School. Don was inducted in the Sports Hall of Fame at Canfield High School and had served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Don leaves his two children, Michele (Brian) Reed of Erie, Pa., Donald S. Stack of Youngstown and seven siblings; Louella (Joseph) Byler of Greenford, Charles (Mary Ann) Stack of Ellsworth, Glenn (Dene) Stack of Canfield, Shirley Tanner of Newton Falls, Betty McGuire of Callahan, FL, Herman (Beatrice) Stack of Canfield and Delores (Bruce) Eldridge of Youngstown. He also leaves two granddaughters, Kathleen and Sarah Reed. Don was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Howard Stack. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-4 PM Saturday prior to the services
