There will be a memorial service 11 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Donald J. Zeisler who passed away Thursday evening at his home. Don was born September 24, 1937 in Poland a son of the late Charles L. and Lenore (Miller) Zeisler. He owned Mahoning Valley Fabricators, and was a member of Christ Church Presbyterian in Youngstown. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, basketball, and was inducted into the Baseball Old Timers Hall of Fame in 2001 and the Woodrow Wilson Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. Don was a member of the Western Star Lodge 21, and the Youngstown Shrine Club. He is survived by his wife the former Donna Anzelmo, whom he married November 19, 1960; five children: Donald C. Zeisler of Poland, Cynthia A. Zeisler and Michele L. Mowchan both of Mineral Ridge, Sharon D. Zeisler of Niles, and Candice D. Zeisler of Salem; three sisters: Norma Wall of Hubbard, Phyllis Denton of Columbiana, and Karen Hudran of New Middletown; and four grandchildren: Melissa and Matthew Zeisler, and Jessica and Nicolaus Mowchan. Beside his parents, Don is preceded in death by one sister Annetta Quigley, and two brothers: Buddy and Robert Zeisler. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations may be made to Wheels of Mercy Foundation, c/o Youngstown Shrine Club, PO Box 302, North Lima, OH 44452, for the Childrens Hospital Division. Friends may call from 2 PM until 4 PM and from 6 PM until 8 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
