Donald L. Nitzsky

Private memorial services will be held for Donald L. Nitzsky who passed away Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Donald was born May 8, 1926 in Youngstown a son of the late Howard and Alice Nitzsky Sr. A United States Navy veteran of WWII, he retired from US Steel as a crane operator after 35 years of service. After retirement, Donald worked at Pinkerton Security. His wife the former Pauline L. Morgan whom he married July 1950, passed away August 28, 1984. Donald will be sadly missed by his three children: Margie and the late Stacy House of Girard, Donald W. Nitzsky and his wife Antoinette of Niles and Dale L. Nitzsky and his wife Edwina of Lakeland, FL; a brother Rodger Nitzsky of Mineral Ridge; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren. Besides his parents and wife, Donald was preceded in death by a grandson David Jones and three brothers: Howard, Clyde and Clarence. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Donald's name. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
