SOUTHINGTON- Donna L. Decker, 70, of Southington passed away at 7AM Wednesday, July 5, 2006 in Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Warren. Donna was born on May 21, 1936 in Champion, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Shafer) Motter and lived in the area all of her life. Donna was a 1954 graduate of Chalker High School. Donna was a homemaker and a 35 year member of House of Prayer in Garrettsville. Donna enjoyed baking, cooking, playing Dominos, socializing on the phone with family and friends, but most of all, Donna especially enjoyed being with her family. Donna is survived by her husband of 51 years Max Decker Sr., whom she married on January 9, 1955; nine children Lavonne (Larry) Root of Garrettsville, Diane (Steve) George of Leavittsburg, Pamela (Duane) Pridemore of Garrettsville, Lisa (Bob) Chapman of Newton Falls, Max (Belinda) Decker Jr. of Southington, Aimee (Kurt) Santagata of Southington, Lorraine (Randy) Crawford of Niles, Rebecca (Mark) Parrack of Huttonsville, WV, and Matthew (Rebecca) Decker of Vienna; a twin brother Rev. Donald L. Motter of Winston Salem, NC; 26 grandchildren: Christine, Jason, Jesse, Sammy, Melissa, Steve, Jamie, Virginia, Brandi, Keith, April, Adam, Ben, Tina, Susan, John, Chase, Ashlee, Randy, Christopher, Miranda, Dawna, Markie, Hannah, Matthew, and Sarah; and 15 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd, Jim, Mike, and Jack Motter; and by two sisters Ruth Lauth, and Marilyn Stewart. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 7, 2006 (TODAY) from 6 until 9 PM in the Lane Funeral Home Roberts Clark Chapel 180 Garfield Dr. NE, Warren, Ohio 330-392-2559. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday in House of Prayer, Silica Sand Road, Garrettsville. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery in Southington.
