Dora Jane Crawford

On March 16, 2013, Dora Jane Crawford passed away at her residence. Dora was born September 12, 1932 in Clay, West Virginia a daughter of the late Roy Jackson and Thelma (Leary) Hanshaw. Besides her parents Dora is predeceased by her husband, Virgil Crawford, whom she married October 30, 1954 and who passed away on July 17, 1996; one sister Daisy Clark and two brothers Burl and Doy Hanshaw. She leaves to mourn her passing six children: David B. Crawford of North Jackson, Allen W. Crawford of Lima, Roy E. (Tracey) Crawford of Liberty, Rita (Terry) Gibbs of State College, PA, Judy McCorkle of North Jackson, and Peggy Crawford of Austintown; two sisters: Pearl Saare of Liberty and Dorothy Cummings of Clay, WV; one brother Dallas Hanshaw of Clay, WV; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and by many friends and extended family. Dora was a self employed aide, enjoyed working in her flower gardens and cooking. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Calling hours will be held Wednesday March 20, 2013 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel. There are no funeral services.
