DOREEN ANN STEFANIK, 65 BOARDMAN--- A private family memorial service was held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 P.M. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel for Doreen Ann Stefanik, 65, who died Sunday morning, July 6th at Salem Regional Medical Center. Doreen was born September 4, 1948 in Youngstown, a daughter of Stephen and Susan Ondomisi Stefanik. She was a graduate of Boardman High School and had attended Youngstown State University. Doreen had worked for American Airlines for 35 years as an airline stewardess. She was a member of the Glenn Christian Foundation Church in Warren. Doreen enjoyed gardening and loved pets, especially her cat "Sweet Pea". She leaves her mother, Susan of Boardman; her sister, Audrey (Andy) Hrifko of Canfield, her niece, Theresa Socciarelli, her great niece Gianna Socciarelli both of Canfield, and her cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Salem Regional Medical Center and Crossroads Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care of Doreen.
