Doris Eleanor Copp

Services will be 11 AM Friday in Grace Lutheran Church in Austintown for Doris Eleanor Copp, 80, of Youngstown who passed away Monday morning in Humility House. Doris was born August 14, 1925 in Youngstown the daughter of Arthur T. and Gladys (Simmons) Dieter and was a lifelong area resident. She was a 1943 graduate of Chaney High School, a homemaker, a member of the church, the Grace Circle, and the Red Hat Society. Doris also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and knitting. Her husband Ernest Lloyd Copp, whom she married March 4, 1946, passed away July 23, 2000. Doris leaves three children; Carol (Paul) Puncekar of Austintown, Susan (Mark) Eckert of Canfield, and Alan (Pam) Copp of Howland, one brother; Alan T. Dieter of Austintown, and five grandchildren; Lyndsay Leybold of Mt. Vernon, OH, Amy Puncekar of Austintown, Jeffrey Copp of Howland, Zachary and Kelsey Eckert both of Canfield. Besides her husband, Doris is preceded in death by a granddaughter; Rachael Eckert. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 PM Thursday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and from 10 to 11 AM Friday in the Church. Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.
