Doris Irene Steele

Doris Irene Steele, age 92, of Braceville, died on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on December 14, 1918 in Braceville, the daughter of the late Vivian Taylor Mowen and the late Gladys Winnagle Mowen. Doris had attended Christ Our King Church and had worked as a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Steele, whom she married on June 7, 1943. Doris is survived by two sons, Dennis M. Steele of Ashland, OH and Eric L. Steele of Braceville and a daughter, Kathy E. Spahlinger of Braceville. Also surviving are five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Grant Mowen. Per her request, no service will be held.
