Doris L Saltzmann

Doris Lavone Saltzmann, 86, of Bristol, passed away March 26, 2015, at Windsor House of Champion, with her family by her side. Doris was born December 18, 1928 in Bristol Township, OH, a daughter of the late Clarence and Opal (Dial) Fink. Doris graduated from Bristol High School in 1946. She married the love of her life James Saltzmann, on February 14, 1947, whom passed away on September 15, 2011; they were married for 64 years. Doris was a homemaker and loved caring for her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with James and visiting 48 different states in her lifetime. The family would take yearly camping trips all over northeast Ohio. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Doris would spend hours crocheting and sewing, making scarves for all her family to stay warm. She leaves behind to hold her precious memories, three children, Robert (Arlene) Saltzmann of Niles, Alice (James) Forrest of Bristol, and Harlan (Mona) Saltzmann of North Bloomfield, 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 5 great- great grandchildren, and a sister Martha (Harold) Richman of Bristol.
