Doris Mazzola

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Doris Mazzola of Canfield and formerly Pompano Beach Florida as well as Dearborn, Michigan who passed away on Friday evening at Omni Manor Care Center. Doris was born May 19, 1921 in Detroit Michigan, the daughter of Thomas and Josephine (Gordon) Hadwin. A homemaker, she had worked as a bookkeeper and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Dearborn, Michigan and attended the Church of Christ. She leaves a daughter Judith (Tom) Dobbelstein of Canfield, and three grandchildren: Susan Dobbelstein, Thomas Dobbelstein II, and Karen Dobbelstein – Hicks. Doris also leaves two great-granddaughters: Lynae and Cheyenne. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. Mazzola whom she married August 10, 1940 and passed away on April 13, 1997 as well as two brothers: Benjamin and Richard Hadwin. Friends and family may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland, Michigan.
