Doris V. Spier

Funeral services will be held Monday 1 pm at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Doris V. Spier age 79 of Canfield who died at her home. Doris was born November 2, 1925 in Canton, OH and was the daughter of Nathan and Sallie (Bell) Brown. She had been a homemaker and an avid reader. Her husband Willard Spier whom she married in 1946 died April 9, 1993. She is survived by four sons, Wayne (Debbie) Spier of Grants Pass, Oregon, Roger (Pam) Spier of Okechobee, FL., William (Linda) Spier of Hanoverton, OH, and John (Susie) Spier of Hyde Park, Pa, thirteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five sisters Daisy Becker, Grace Sparks, Mildred McCauley, Ruth Leeders, Ruby Moon and six brothers Jack, Nathan, Ralph, Roy, Joe, and Earl Brown.In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Youngstown Radio Reading Service, 2747 Belmont Ave., Youngstown, OH 44505, Attn.
