Dorothy Conceller

Franklin, Pa Dorothy (Prussey) Conceller, 82, formerly of Warren, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015 at The Caring Place in Franklin, Pennsylvania. She was born June 11, 1933 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia Kanche Prussey. Dorothy was a 1950 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Warren, Ohio, where she met her husband of over 63 years, Edward Conceller. Their home was a warm and welcoming place, where friends and family knew they were always welcome to drop by anytime for a cup of coffee and a chat. Their marriage was an example of love and generosity that their children and grandchildren hold as a standard. Dorothy was a homemaker for many years, and also worked as a secretary for an attorney and a tour company. Dorothy was an excellent cook and baker, enjoyed spending time in Fort Myers, Florida, reading, and playing computer games and cards with her card club. She was the treasurer of the Warren G. Harding Band Parents, and took pleasure in keeping contact with her extensive social network and family. She was well-liked, and could start a conversation with anyone at anytime about anything. Her legacy will continue not only in her many delicious recipes, but also in the inclusive spirit that she and Edward fostered by making their home a joyful gathering place. Dorothy's memory will be carried on by her husband Edward Conceller, her sister Virginia (Robert) Perotti, her sister-in-law Dorothy Conceller of Seven Hills, OH, her 7 daughters: Cheryl (Regis) Shuttic of Warren, Mary Lou (Robert) Wilson of Warren, Cindy (Steven) Sager of Darlington, SC, Kathy (Marty )Mrofchak of Warren, Julie (Sal) Padilla of Matthews, NC, Regina Conceller of Parma, OH, Amy (Mike) Kovalchuk of Denver, NC, and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren include Catherine (William) Archuleta and their son Ethan of Humble, TX, Lynn Alderman of Warren, Paul (Carla) Wilson and their daughter Julia of Bel Air, MD, Sara McGinley of Warren, Stephen Wilson of Warren, Stephanie (Jason) Kokrak of Charlotte, NC, John McGinley (Katie) of Lakewood, WA, Adam (Danielle) Mrofchak and their daughter Allie of Poland, OH, Antonio Padilla and Amanda Padilla of Matthews, NC, and Michael, Jacob, and Kyle of Denver, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Julia Kanche Prussey, her brother-in-law Samuel Conceller, and son-in-law Joseph Jarmatcki, Jr. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Warren. Father Bernard Schmalzried will officiate. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Lane Roberts-Clark Memorial Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. NE, Warren, OH 44483.
