Dorothy E Lewis

Dorothy E. "Dot" Lewis, 91 of Niles formerly of Vienna passed away at 10:55pm, Tuesday November 10, 2009 at St. Joseph Health Center. Dot was born on May 6, 1918, the daughter of the late David W. and Anna E. (Young) Jones in Bellevue, Pa. A lifetime area resident, Dot graduated from Bristol High School. She was an executive secretary at Brainard Steel Co. in Warren, retiring in 1980. She married her husband, Samuel E. Lewis on September 6, 1975; he preceded her in death on June 4, 2004. Together they shared 28 years of marriage. She is survived by her sister Betty Hancock of Vienna Twp.; stepdaughter Dian (Thomas) Mason of Howland Twp.; nieces; Nannette Seiple, Pamela (Bill) Hallett, Gyneth (Randy) Blum and Nephew John (Christine) Hancock; and five step grandchildren. She was preceded in death her parents, husband Samuel, stepson, Frederick C. Lewis, two brothers, Roy and David Jones; and a nephew David Hancock. According to Dot's wishes private family services will be held and burial will be at Sager Memorial Cemetery, Bristolville. Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements. Material contributions maybe made to a charity of the donors choice in Dot's memory.
