Dorothy Gaile Nagel

Dorothy Gaile Nagel, age 92 of Youngstown passed away August 11, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Main Campus, Youngstown. Dorothy was born June 27, 1921 to John and Ethel (Harris) Francis. Dorothy married Ward F. Nagel in 1942. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was an active member in the Mahoning United Methodist Church. Her husband, Ward died in 1996. Survivors include her children; Charles W. Nagel, Youngstown, Julie D. (Harold) Carroll, Youngstown, Dan (Cathy) Klingensmith, Youngstown, daughter in law, Loretta Nagel, Struthers, grandchildren; Amy (Frank) Webber, Jennifer (Robert) Mackall, Jeff Carroll, Gina, Nagel, Michele (Patrick) Dugan, Jacquelyn (Robert) Duncan, Jamie (Jeff) Kester, Jodie (John) Chiasson, Kelly (Christopher) Kutsko, Daniel (Susan) Klingensmith, Sara (Daniel) Ford, twenty-one great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, son, Jack D. (2005), brother, Jake Francis and sister, Donna Klingensmith. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13th from 5-7:00pm at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, and a funeral service following at 7:00pm at the funeral home.
