Dorothy Jean Popa

Dorothy Jean Popa, 80, passed away Monday evening at her home. Dorothy was born March 6, 1932 in North Jackson the daughter of John and Mary (Klimek) Lehotsky. She worked as a Lab Assistant at Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital for several years. Her husband Paul Popa, whom she married June 27, 1949, passed away February 14, 2005. Dorothy leaves two children, Paul D. Popa of North Jackson, and Judith Early of Richardson TX, one sister, three brothers, as well as five grandchildren, David, Robert, Paul, Heidi, Heather, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Besides her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Santos, and one brother. There were no calling hours. Arrangements were handled by the Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel.
