Dorothy M. Kearns – 76 Youngstown—Services will be 11 am Monday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Dorothy M. Kearns, 76, of Youngstown who passed away Early Thursday morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Dorothy was born April 14, 1948 in Youngstown the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Swanson) Griesser. She was a 1946 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and was a homemaker, wife and loving mother. Dorothy was an avid Bowler and enjoyed playing basket ball and soft ball in her younger years. Her husband Joseph Kearns whom she married October 12, 1948 passed away January 20, 1997. She leaves three children; Robert Kearns of Myrtle Beach, SC, William Kearns and Kathy Hokanson both of Youngstown, one sister Eileen Hammond and one brother John Griesser both of Austintown, Seven grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Dorothy is also preceded in death by a brother William Griesser. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
