Dorothy Nadine Hanley

AUSTINTOWN-Funeral services were held at 11:30AM Monday, February 27, 2006 in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Dorothy N. Hanley of Canfield, who passed away peacefully at 1PM Saturday in the Humility House. Dorothy was 80. Dorothy was born on May 14, 1925 in Akron, Ohio and was the daughter of Berton and Lizabeth (Casenhiser) Rinehart. Dorothy was a homemaker and was a charter member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Canfield. Dorothy was very active in the church. Dorothy was a member of the Junior Women’s Club of Canfield, and the Canfield Garden Club. Dorothy was an avid gardener. Dorothy married Robert H. Hanley in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 2000. Dorothy is survived by her children Robert (Patricia) of Girard, Mark (Holly) of Youngstown, and Nadine (Eric) of California; and five grandchildren Erin, Adam, Mallory, Mitchell, and Zachary Hanley. Besides her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Evelyn Thrush. There were no calling hours and entombment has taken place in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
