Dortha Jean Brown

Dortha J. Brown, 76, of Warren, died Friday morning at her home after an extended illness. Born September 19, 1929 in Albright, WV she was the only child of Elia and Elsie Bolyard Christopher. Coming to the area in 1965 from Wheeling, WV, Dortha retired from Packard Electric in the early 90’s after 23 years of service. She liked to travel and enjoyed reading and gardening. She married Robert L. Brown May 14, 1954. He preceded her in death in 1994. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Carlton Kaczowka of Lordstown, by a grandson Ryan Kaczowka also of Lordstown and by her beloved little dog “Haley”. The Rev. John Rencewicz will conduct a funeral service on Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Roberts-Clark Chapel at 10:30 AM. There will be an hour of calling Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30AM. Burial will be in the Champion Township Cemetery on Tuesday.
