Douglas Dee Stowers, 63 of Brookfield passed away Wednesday August 18, 2010 at Sharon Regional Hospital. Born in West Virginia on September 12, 1946, Doug is the son of the late Russell Dee and Frances Louise (Jarrell) Stowers. A lifetime area resident, Doug retired from Delphi Packard Electric in 1998 after 30 years of service. Mr. Stowers served our country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. Doug enjoyed watching sports especially Ohio State. Doug married his wife, the former Joan Mogon on March 31, 1973, by whom he is survived. Also surviving Doug is his son, Justin Stowers of Brookfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Deborah Lynn Stowers. Funeral services will be held 12pm Saturday August 21, 2010 at Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield. The family will be receving friends from 10am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery.
