Douglas L. Kelly

Douglas "Doug" L. Kelly, 55, passed away on Saturday at St. Elizabeths in Youngstown. Doug was born July 10, 1963 in Franklin, Pennsylvania, the son of Gerald and Donna (Keely) Kelly. Doug worked at Star Extruded Shapes as a packer for almost 15 years before becoming ill. He was an avid sports fan and loved all things Pittsburgh, including Steelers, Pirates, and the Penguins. He loved amusement parks and looked forward to the Canfield Fair every year. Doug is survived by his mother Donna; his brothers Gerald C. Kelly Jr. and Raymond (Sherry) Kelly; his sister Alice (Robert Wood) Kelly; and his nieces Alexandria and Hermione Coe. Doug is preceded in death by his father and his infant brother Jerry Glenn. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 4:00pm at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Calling hours will be 2:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
