Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday at St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church for Dr. Gust N. Boulis of Canfield who passed away Monday evening at Forum Northside Hospital. Dr. Boulis was born July 13, 1927 in Vandergrift, PA the son of Nicholas and Sophia (Linakis) Boulis. A graduate of Washington and Jefferson College, and the Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia, Dr. Boulis was also a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 737 in Canfield, the Optimist Club, The Pillars of Stambaugh Auditorium, the Order of the A.H.E.P.A., and was a 32 degree Mason. Dr. Boulis was also a member of the local, state, and national American Medical Association and was a member of St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church in Boardman. Besides his wife, the former Lois Wilson, whom he married in 1972, Dr. Boulis leaves a daughter Chrisso Boulis of Philadelphia, two sisters: Katherine (John) Miniotis of Vandergrift, PA, and Eva (John) Rodakis of Lexington, MA. He also leaves a brother Dr. Matthew (Renee) Boulis of Philadelphia, PA. Friends and family may call from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel.
