Earl D. Fink

YOUNGSTOWN: Earl D. "Jim" Fink, age 91 of Youngstown and formerly of Leigh Acres, Florida passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Austinwoods Care Center. Earl was born December 7, 1921 to parents Carl and Loretta (Forber) Fink. Earl proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII in B-Company 160 Infantry. He was a Millwright at Republic Steel in Warren, Ohio, retiring in 1983. Earl married Mary Ellen Corll on April 21, 1946 and together they had six wonderful children. Earl loved being outside and enjoyed working in the garden. He would help anyone who needed it as a good handyman. Mostly he enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren. Earl is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Fink, sons; Chauncey (Marie) Fink, Berlin Center, Kenneth (Tammy) Fink, Austintown, daughters; Marcia (Nick) Depizzo, Austintown, Margaret (Jim) Ingledue, Goshen, Lynn (Martin Hough) Mikula, Youngstown, son in law; Roger Rowbottom, sister; Dorothy Tobin, 14 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Alice Marie Rowbottom, sisters; Betty Baird, Carol Fink, brothers; Harold, Donald, Cecil Fink, grandchildren; Amanda Depizzo and Kenny J. Fink. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel from 2-4pm. Funeral service will follow at 4:00pm. Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
