Eda Margarite Wehnes

EDA MARGARITE WEHNES Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Wed. at the Four Mile Run Christian Church for Eda M. Wehnes who died Saturday morning at Glen View Manor. She had formerly lived on Brentwood Ave. Youngstown Eda was born July 15, 1907 in Youngstown, Ohio. A daughter of Jacob and Emma (Spohn) Eugster. She was a music teacher church pianist and organist. She was a member of the Organist Guild and Youngstown Piano Teachers Assoc. She was also a member of the church. She is survived by her children Betty Martin of Austintown, Eleanor McHattie of Houston TX, and Howard Wehnes of Jacksonville FL. two sisters Hattie Cramer of Naples FL.,Lillian Stepp of Sellersburg IN. And 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband Howard W. Wehnes whom she married 1924, he died in 1957, and a brother Fritz Eugster. Friends may call from 5-8PM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel and one hour prior to services Wed. at the church.
