Edith L. Owsley

Edith L. Owsley, 61, of Adrian Drive SE died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at 3:15AM at her home from an extended illness from cancer. Born November 2, 1943 in Stirrat, WV she was the daughter of Grady and Emma (Runyon) May. Edith worked for the Holiday Inn Express in Warren for 6 years in the house keeping department. She enjoyed crafts, quilting and antiques, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a loving daughter and son, Mrs. Robin(Perry) Carioti of Howland Twp., and John(Jeri) Owsley of Cortland, 7 grandchildren Cassy Owsley, Joe Carioti, Anthony Carioti, Jason Owsley, Brandon Agler, Cheyenne Owsley and Gage Owsley, two brothers, Leroy(Eloise) May of South Carolina, Ronald(June) May of West Virginia and a sister Helen(Edwin) Bias of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by two sons, Harold Jr. and Billy Franklin and by two brothers John T(Eleanore) May and Dana May. Calling hours will be held Friday, October 14, 2005 from 5 to 8 PM at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Glen Michael York will conduct a funeral service on Sunday, October 16, 2005 at 2PM at the Collins-Slater Funeral Home, Rte 44 South Switzer, WV. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12Noon until the service time at 2PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill, WV.
