Edna “Eddie” Clark Jamieson of Brookfield, Ohio, died at 10:50 AM Saturday (9-1-2007) in the Sharon Regional Health Care System following a sudden illness. She was 82. Mrs. Jamieson was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on June 13, 1925, a daughter of Benjamin and Alice (Jones) McMullin. A 1943 graduate of Brookfield High School, Mrs. Jamieson furthered her education by attending classes at Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. She was formerly employed at Westinghouse Electric Company and also at Yankee Run Golf Course. More importantly, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Jamieson was a lifelong member of the Brookfield United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Women’s Society, a member of the Altar Guild, and helped with many fund-raising activities. In her spare time, she enjoyed her cat named “Bear,” feeding the birds, and tending to her plants and flowers. Mrs. Jamieson was well-known for her famous roast beef and meatballs, incredible wedding soup, talent for sewing, and her family and church “porch parties.” Survivors include: her children, Timm Jamieson and his wife Ginger, Roanoke, VA, Susie King and her husband Terry, Medina, OH, Patti Luchette, Brookfield, OH, and Laurie Hedrick and her husband Jim, Charlotte, NC; her brothers, Ben McMullin and his wife Adah, and Bill McMullin and his wife Bert, both of Brookfield; her grandchildren, Jason Jamieson and his wife Renee` and their son Andrew, Erin Jamieson, Bill King, Kerry King, Sam Hedrick, and twin girls Alex and Avery Hedrick; and many nieces and nephews as well as countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Les, whom she married July 19, 1945, he died March 12, 2006; her brothers, Jim and Tom McMullin; and her sister, Mary Woolfolk. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday at the Brookfield United Methodist Church, with Rev. Tom Stiver, Pastor. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 11-12 PM at the church. Burial will be in Brookfield Township Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests contributions be made to the Church Memorial Fund.
