Edna Gertrude Neikirk

Edna Gertrude Neikirk, 99 Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel for Edna Gertrude Neikirk, 99 of Poland who died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Boardman. Edna was born February 23, 1920 in Cleveland, a daughter of the late Ernest and Frieda Musal and came to this area in 1970 from the Cleveland area. Edna was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was an excellent cook, but most importantly was time spent with her grandchildren. Her husband, Calvin C.Neikirk whom she married in 1938, died October 4, 1983. She leaves her son, Gerald R. (Gail) Neikirk of Middlefield; two daughters, Sharon (Sam) Infante of Poland and Patricia Neikirk of Austintown. Edna also leaves six grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and two-great-great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, Edna was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Musal. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
