Edna V. Wagner, 95, of Brookfield, passed away 10:20 AM Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at O'Brien Nursing Home in Masury. She was born August 3, 1916 in McKeesport, Pa., the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Bergquist) Myers. Edna was a graduate of McKeesport high school class of 1934. A devoted homemaker, she enjoyed baking, knitting and taking fishing trips to Canada with her husband. Edna was a member of North Mar Christian & Missionary Alliance church where she enjoyed attending bible studies and church activities. Edna will be dearly missed by her loving husband, of 72 years, Joseph Wagner, whom she married June 29, 1940; a daughter Elaine (George) Fielding, of Brookfield, two sons Lloyd, of Forest Miss. and James (Alice) Wagner, of Maryville, Tn., six grandchildren; Kenneth, Cheryl, Douglas, Rebecca, Matthew and Joseph, 3 great grandchildren; Andrea, Alyssa, and Amanda, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Tuesday Jan. 31, 2012 at Roberts-Clark Chapel where friends will be received from 10 AM until service time. Her grandson the Rev. Kenneth Fielding will officiate. Interment will be in Brookfield Cemetery. Material contributions may take the form of donations to North Mar Christian & Missionary Alliance Church 3855 E. Market St. Warren, Oh. 44483.
