Edward A. Morrison, 89, of Vienna, passed away Friday afternoon, January 6, 2012 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. Born October 9, 1922 in Whitehaven, PA he was the son of the late Robert and Carrie (Berry) Morrison. Ed was a WWII veteran of the United States Army. He retired from H.K. Porter where he worked as a machine operator for 43 years and was a member of First Assembly of God in Vienna. Edward is survived by his wife, Lucinda M. (Peters) Morrison of Vienna whom he married July 4, 1942 and ten children; Harry Morrison of Warren, Eddie Morrison of Brookfield, Christopher Morrison of Cortland, Joyce McAdams of Warren, Dorothea Chalker of Vienna, Sherry Stegall of Newton Falls, Amy Metheny of Liberty, Becky Blose of Kinsman, Christina Scott of Fowler and Tracy Murray of Southington and 104 grand, great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three children; Clement Christopher Morrison, Marlene Mae Morrison, and Emerson Eugene Morrison, 17 brothers and sisters and by his parents. Family and friends may visit Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 P.M. at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel and Wednesday morning from 10 until 11 A.M. Pastor Gary Roy will conduct a funeral service Wednesday morning at 11 A.M. at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill Burial Park where military honors will be observed.
