EDWARD PATRICK MANION Edward P. Manion of Masury, OH died at 6:48 PM Sunday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 74. Mr. Manion was born in Sharon, PA on Oct. 24, 1931, a son of Edward P. and Margaret Curtin Manion Sr. He was a 1949 graduate of Brookfield High School. Edward retired from American General, where he sold insurance for over 30 years. He also was a Brookfield Twp. Clerk for 20 years, and Democratic Precinct Committeeman for 40 years. Mr. Manion was a member of PERI (Public Employee’s Retirement Inc.), on the Board of Residential Horizon’s Inc., past member of Knights of Columbus, and a Life time member of St. Bernadette’s Church Survivors include: his wife, Virginia Welsh Manion, whom he married Feb. 7, 1953.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Virginia (Arthur) Catterson of Brookfield, Mrs. Marilyn (Jaime) Fredenburg of Fowler, Mrs. Annette (Anthony) DiCristofaro of Brookfield, and Mrs. Susan (Robert) Emens of Garrettsville.; 5 sisters, Margaret Jackson, Jackie Hoelzle, Bonita Filipovich, Catherine Welsh, and Mary P. Manion; 7 grandchildren, Jill Benner, Jeff Catterson, Erica Fredenburg, Audra Fredenburg, Danielle DiCristofaro, Evan Emens, and Nathan Emens; 2 great grandchildren, Grace Benner and Paige Catterson. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 1 sister, Elizabeth Gilmartin. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Bernadette’s Church in Masury, with Fr. Frank Zanni. Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM Wednesday at Madasz Funeral Chapel, Brookfield, OH. Burial will be in Brookfield Twp. Cemetery.
