AUSTINTOWN: Edward J. Ross, age 67 of Austintown passed away Friday, October 25, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, ER-Main Campus. Edward was born in Heidelburg, Germany on March 2, 1946 to parents Nicholas and Margot (Sallon) Ross. Edward served his country in the United States Air Force at Tet Offensive during the Veitnam Conflict. Edward worked for GM Lordstown as a weamer with local union #1714, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed riding his harley and was a member of HOGG, UAW Local 1714 and was a columnist for the Focus Union Paper at Lordstown. Edward's main passion was his family and friends. He loved to sit a relax with a glass of Jack Daniels. Edward is survived by his wife, Judy (Greer) whom he married in December 2002, son; Adam (Janice) Ross, Germany, daughters; Allison (Mike) Maddock, Tennessee, Joy (Mike) Newingham, Stow, mother; Margot Ross, brothers; Kevin and Brian Ross, grandchildren; Alexandria, Amerique, Gabriella and Gia. He is preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
