Eileen Welsh

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Canfield for Eileen Welsh of Liberty and formerly Canfield who passed away on Tuesday morning at Liberty Arms Assisted Living Center after a short illness. Eileen was born October 13, 1923 in Youngstown the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Jones) Weldon. A Canfield High School and St. Elizabeth’s Nursing School graduate, Eileen was a Registered Nurse at St. Elizabeth’s Medical center and retired in 1986 after 26 years of service. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, the Retired Nurses Association third district, and a member of the Catholic Nurses group. She leaves three children: Mary Jo (Robert) Miller of McDonald, Dan (Denise) Welsh of Niles, and William Welsh of Tucson, AZ. Eileen also leaves three grandchildren: Robert Miller Jr, Delia Welsh, and Dinah Welsh. She was preceded in death by her son Charles Welsh and two brothers: John and James Weldon. Friends and family may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel.
