Cortland Eleanor A. Push, 89, longtime resident of Cortland, passed away Friday morning, May 1, 2015 at Greenbrier Health Care in Cleveland, OH. Eleanor was born on April 4, 1926 in Campbell, OH, a daughter of Nicolas and Mary Savo. She was employed at Youngstown Sheet and Tube in Youngstown for 19 years. She enjoyed volunteering at nursing homes and visiting the residents. She also enjoyed donating to the Salvation Army. Eleanor will be sadly missed by her daughter Karen Rowbottom of Cortland; the loves of her life, her two grandchildren, Michal DiRocco and her husband Jeremey of Cleveland, OH and Solomon Gunyula of Conway, AR; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Michael Kubina, and her siblings, Helen Belea, Mary Hiendrich, John Savo, Nick Savo, and Sam Savo. Family and friends may visit from 5-6:00PM on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Shafer-Winans Chapel in Cortland, OH, followed by a celebration of life at 6:00PM, where family and friends may share stories about Eleanor.
