Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Eleanor M. Richey of Austintown who passed away at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC on Monday. Eleanor was born May 15, 1928 in Wilkinsburg, PA a daughter of Roller and Ruby (Cook) Spitzer. She was a member of the Austintown Community Church, previously affiliated with Lake to River Girl Scout Council, former owner of Tomorrow’s Treasures in Poland, and enjoyed arts & crafts, gardening, and reading. Eleanor is survived by her husband James L. Richey whom she married June 29, 1951; one daughter Janice L. Johnson of Raleigh, NC; one brother Edwin Spitzer of Lake Mary, FL; two grandchildren Daniel R. and Nicole M. Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel from 6-9 PM Thursday evening.
