Elizabeth K Kolley Bright

Elizabeth K "Betty" Kolley Bright, age 93 of Warren, died at 9:18 a.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011, at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was born June 30, 1918 in Warren the daughter of the late Virgil and Clida Lazenby Smith. Betty was a North Bloomfield resident most of her life. Betty was a 1936 graduate of Bloomfield High School and worked for many years as a bookkeeper at livestock auctions and local trucking companies. She enjoyed growing roses, the outdoors and was an animal lover. Her husband, Emery Bright, whom she married in 1968, preceded her in death in May 1976. Also preceding her in death are daughter, Gwenn and her husband Don Smith; grandson, Gregory Smith; a sister, Jean Zarick and a brother, Russell Smith. Betty is survived by her daughter, Donna (Don) Loomis of Lake Milton; five granddaughters, Kristine Placer, Lisa (Jason) Richmond, Shannon Loomis, Nichole (Scott) Calderhead and Heather (Phillip) Gnacinski; eight great grandchildren, Shane Smith, Julianne Placer, Haley Coe, Tyler Richmond and Savin, Crayton, Aviana and Zaria Calderhead; a sister, Thelma Durst of Cuyahoga Falls and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at noon Thursday at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where family and friends may call for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greene Township.
