Elizabeth Roberts

Private services were held for Elizabeth Roberts, 90, of Canfield who passed away Friday evening in Austinwoods Nursing Home. Elizabeth was born December 19, 1920 in Youngstown the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth () Zoltowski. She was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a Gray Lady at Northside Hospital for 5 years, a member of Fonderlac Country Club, and of the Methodist Faith. Elizabeth enjoyed golfing and spending time with her grandchildren. Her husband, Harold E. Roberts, whom she married April 28, 1937, passed away May 3, 2002. She leaves two children, Lawrence (Carol) Roberts of Pittsburgh PA, and Patricia (Lawrence) Patrone of Canfield, five grandchildren, Erika Coburn, Jason Roberts, David Patrone, Stephen Patrone, and Jill Pelligrini, two great grandchildren, Alexa and Nicole Coburn, and one sister Florence Lupo of Edinburg, PA. Besides her husband and parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by two sisters, Gertrude Kaufman and Ann Sturgeon, and one brother, Bud Zoltowski. There were no calling hours. Arrangements were by Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel.
