Elmer E. Good, age 84 of Austintown, Ohio, died on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 2:50 PM at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman. He was born on September 12, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Jacob and Jane Williams Good. Elmer was a Chaney High School graduate and also a graduate of Youngstown State University. He was a dietary coordinator for Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic. Mr. Good was an honorably discharged US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and his rank was Master Sergeant. Survivors include three grandchildren; two nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore "Ted" Powell of Austintown, Mr. and Mrs. Robert "Bob" Powell of Cleveland, and his good friends, Mr. and Mrs. John Cardin of Boardman. Other than his parents, Elmer was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Good and one sister, Louise Powell. Funeral services will be held at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel, at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 23, 2014, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Elmer will be buried in the Brunstetter Cemetery in Austintown, Ohio.
