Elmer W. Messerly

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday in Canfield Christian Church for Elmer W. Messerly formerly of Glenmere Dr. Boardman who died Friday morning at Brairfield Manor. Mr. Messerly was born Jan. 14, 1911 in Canfield the son of Artie Jacob and Etta Grace Crawford Messerly. He was in management for 41 years with Donnell Ford Motor Company retiring in 1973. Mr. Messerly was a member of the Canfield Christian Church and the National Rifle Association. Mr. Messerly was preceded in death by his wife Hazel M. (Bricker) Messerly whom he married March 21,1934 died Dec. 23, 2000. His nephew Bud and Barbara Richards of Canfield, two grand nephews Daniel Richards of Canfield, Mike and Sharon Richards of Salem and three grand grand nephews Corey, Garrett and Noah Richards survive him. Friends may call from noon until 1 PM at the church on Monday
