Services will be 11 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Elsie M. Biles, 88, of North Jackson who passed away Friday at Omni Health Care Center. Elsie was born July 11, 1918 in Salem the daughter of John and Sophie (Heltman) Weber. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church of Ellsworth, the Christian Women’s League, and the Keenagers. She was a member of several bowling leagues and belonged to the Saxon Club. Elsie also enjoyed arts and crafts, Bingo, the home shopping network, and the time she spent with her family. Her husband Wilferd whom she married December 30, 1939, passed away July 10, 1982. Elsie leaves four children; Richard (JoAnn) Biles of Southington, Arleen (Herb) Campbell, Clark Biles, and Clifford (Jeannette Jenkins) Biles all of North Jackson, one sister Betty (Vernon) Ostovich of Struthers, one brother Walt (Elaine) Weber of Salem, 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Besides her husband, Elsie is preceded in death by one daughter Avanell Hoon, one son Ronald Biles, one grandson Brian Biles, as well as nine brothers and sisters. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
