Elton William Warren

June 19, 1942 — July 17, 2012

Elton William Warren "Willie", age 70, of Bristolville, died Tuesday July, 17, 2012. He was born June 19, 1942 in Warren, Ohio to Floyd and Belle (Baker) Warren. A graduate of Cortland High School, class of 1960, he went on to attend Kent State University for a year before joining the Army in 1961. Upon his departure from the service in 1964 Willie began to work for Packard Electric where he held several positions, from tow-motor operator to supervisor until his retirement after 34 years. On April 8, 1967 he married Karen (Deens) with whom he spent 45 wonderful years of marriage. He enjoyed vacationing in Florida, Maryland and Niagara Falls with his wife, family and friends. He enjoyed the time he spent at his family's cabin in Benezette PA. He enjoyed every minute he spent with his kids and grand kids and took every opportunity to be with them. He loved his Thursday get togethers with his friends where they solved the world's problems. Willie was an avid builder and collector of trains, from small models to a large riding train which he and his son built. He was always fixing and building things such as sets and backgrounds for his daughter's dance recitals. He leaves behind his wife Karen, his son Darrin (Regina) Warren and daughter Dana (Dino) Tolios. He also leaves behind his two grandchildren Damon Warren and Bailey Tolios. Also surviving him are his sister Sherry (Jim) Mills, and two brothers, Paul (Carol) Warren and Frank Warren. He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Belle Warren and his sister Myrna Warren. The family believes that God took Willie because the pearly gates have been broken for 70 years and God could no longer wait to have them fixed. They are sure that he will fix them (the right way) this time A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 21, 2012 from 12pm-8pm at 3425 Youngstown-Kingsville Rd. Fowler OH.
