Emma Rachel Waller

Funeral services will be 1 PM Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 485 Redondo Rd, Youngstown, for Emma Rachel Waller who passed away Thursday evening at Park Vista. Emma was born February 1, 1911 in Youngstown a daughter of the late William and Sarah (Klemn) Tessean. A member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and former member of the church's Ladies Aid, Emma retired after 16 years as a custodian with the Austintown Local School District. Emma enjoyed playing the piano, playing cards, and crocheting, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. Her husband Vernon Waller, whom she married April 14, 1934, passed away August 15, 1970. Emma is survived by two children: Donna J. Kennedy of Northville, MI and Sarah "Sally" A. (Richard) Brauer of Youngstown; seven grandchildren: Karen, Douglas, Susan, Patricia, Cheryl, Scott, and Paula and eleven great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Emma is preceded in death by two brothers: Howard and George Tessean. Friends may call from 12 PM until the time of the services Monday at the church.
