Enos M. Detwiler

Enos M. Detwiler, age 76, of Austintown passed away Monday afternoon at Omni Manor. Enos was born April 13, 1928 in Beaver Twp a son of the late Jonah and Cora Stutzman Detwiler. He was an auto mechanic for Stivers of Niles and was an Army Veteran of WWII where he received the WWII Victory Medal American Theater Ribbon and was Honorably Discharged. Enos enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing. He is survived by his wife the former Anna Wellman whom he married January 27, 1950; four children Mary Farr of Austintown, Peggy Smith of Youngstown, Judy Stevens of Warren and Dennis Detwiler of Austintown; two brothers Jay H. Detwiler of Austintown and Crawford Detwiler of Salem and six grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter Joyce, and a brother Donald. Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel from 6-8 PM Thursday where a funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley in Enos’ name.
