ERMA RANDALL HARTLEY, 93 CANFIELD-There will be Services at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lane Family Funeral Homes-Canfield Chapel for Erma Randall Hartley, 93, who died Saturday evening at The Commons at The Greenbriar. Erma was born October 6, 1920 in New Martinsville, West Virginia, a daughter of Joseph F. and Pearl Burton Goddard. Erma was the Treasurer of the Board of Education for the Boardman School District for many years. Erma was a 1938 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and had attended Boardman United Methodist Church. Erma was a member of Zonta Organization for business women and also the State Board of Education Treasurers Association. She was an avid Bridge player and enjoyed traveling extensively around the world. Erma also enjoyed attending her sons Harness Races. Erma's husband, Allen Hamilton (Sonny) Randall died May 10, 1975. She was then married to Rodger Hartley, who is also deceased. Erma is survived by her daughter, Judy Cobb and her fiance, Howard H. Kyle of Salem; her sons, James L. (Patricia) Randall of Hagerstown, MD and Ronald D. Randall of Berlin Center; her daughter-in-law, Suzanne Flint Randall of Clermont, FL; her sister, Wilma Payne of Austintown; eleven grandchildren and thirteen gr. grandchildren. Erma was preceded in death by her son, Jerry A. Randall; two sisters and five brothers. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday prior to the Service at the funeral home.
